Basic product types and guides

The types of products the company is providing and preliminary guidance on selecting the type of concrete that suits your needs

Common types of concrete

Concrete marks R7: 200R7 to 450R7

Concrete marks R28: 200R28 to 500R28

Specialized concrete (according to customer's design)

Waterproof concrete, concrete strength of over 400KG / cm2, sulfate resistant concrete, high slump concrete, self-compacting concrete, fast curing concrete v ...

Marking and slump when using commercial concrete (According VLXD.org).

Applicable for family houses, villas, housing combined office under 10 floors.

When you build a house (office), the choice of concrete design advice given by the design engineer, structural engineer, not the architect. When calculating the structure, the engineer must select the grade of concrete and take the load values of the marks to be calculated to give the dimensions of the components (beam width, floor thickness ...) number of steel and layout in each configuration.

Normally with small civil works, a building should only use one type of concrete. If different concrete grades are used for different components, the work of the structure between the points of intersection of the concrete will not be appropriate for the calculation and the occurrence of local problems at the location. there.

For small civil works, the commonly used mark is M250 or M300, slump 12 +/- 2
It is possible to select the following grades of concrete for economical construction:

• For [tt] = 3 storeys: Use M200 concrete, with the span between large beams use M250.
• For House 4 < = Number of Floors < = 6 Floors: Using M250, with span between large beams, use M300.
• For House 6 < = Number of Floors < = 10: Use of M300, with large span components, should be communicated to the structural engineer for a reasonable design.

For each item and how to pour concrete (hand, static pump or needle pump), location construction items, weather ... the slump is different. This slump change is to ensure that construction can be carried out.

• With a homeowner you can use the slump option of 12 ± 2 when using a pump to pour concrete.
• For direct concrete without a pump, the slump should be less: it should be 10 ± 2.

For other works refer to how to use concrete when designed as follows:

• Building foundation, warehouse, workshop: M300 - M400;
• Large industrial houses, silos, tanks: M300 - M400;
• Precast concrete piles, packed piles: M300 or more;
• Abutments, bridges, bridge beams, post-tensioning beams: M350 and above.
